The Independence Anthem has become a symbol of the revival, national unity and integrity of the Turkish nation, standing in the darkest and most difficult days of our nation without compromising its independence, love for the country and flag, determination and passion for a free life.

On the 104th anniversary of the adoption of the Independence March by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey as the National Anthem, reflecting the common feelings of the whole country, we honor all the heroes of the War of Independence, especially Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the members of the First Assembly and the valuable poet Mehmet Akif Ersoy with mercy, gratitude and respect.
