RTİB President Erdem Acay visited the Istanbul office of the Russian Export Center.
The visit was attended by RTİB Turkey Representative Dania Usmanova Şimşek; Timur Safin, Head of the Russian Export Center's Turkey Representative Office; Aleksandr Bakustin, Deputy Trade Representative of the Russian Federation to Turkey; Ilya Çistyakov, Representative of the Russian Export Center to Turkey; and Daria Matrenkina, Attaché of the Istanbul Office of the Russian Federation to Turkey Trade Mission.
The Russian Export Center shared information about the representative's current activities, upcoming forums and events, as well as the World Food Fair, held in Istanbul from September 2-5, and the companies participating from Russia. RTİB and the Russian Export Center evaluated potential collaborations to support exports for Russian and Turkish companies and demonstrate the right methods for entering markets. In his speech, Erdem Acay stated that the RTİB union aims to provide support to Turkish companies operating in Russia, as well as Russian SMEs seeking to do business in Türkiye, and to facilitate the meeting of sectoral delegations from Russia with Turkish sector representatives.
