The event held at Moscow Yunus Emre Institute on the occasion of the acceptance of the March National Anthem and Mehmet Akif Ersoy Commemoration Day was attended by the Turkish Ambassador to Moscow Tanju Bilgiç, RTİB Deputy Chairman Nurullah Bakır, YEE Coordinator Gökhan Yağcı, representatives of Turkish institutions and organizations, and Russian and Turkish citizens.
The program began with the reading of the National Anthem and included speeches by Turkish Ambassador to Moscow Bilgiç and YEE Coordinator Yağcı on the meaning of the day.
The event included a barcovision presentation on the life of Mehmet Akif Ersoy, the writing process of the anthem and its acceptance, a live performance of the Küfe Poem, and a live violin version of the National Anthem.
